The romantic relationships in which people desert their friends; are doomed to fail!
Trust me; I know via experience...

Exs & Exams
At Last. My Love(s) Have Come Along...
A Long way that is!
It's funny...
I always ended up thinking of all my ex's during my exams.
It might be because procastination brings out the most trivial things on one's mind (not that I am calling my ex's trivial!). Or it maybe because the stress brings out the most important and impulsive thoughts in all of us.
Well; This time... It was quiet the contrary. Somehow; all my ex's congolmerated to contact me today. With 6 exams down and 2 more to go; Perfect timing `eh?
But it did throw me off in a loop of thought...
Made me realize how much love I have had in my life. Pure, sincere & giving love. Love that gave without receiving. Love that gave without judging. Love that loved without being loved.
Just made me think how blessed I am.
Did I ever cherish it enough?
I don't think I did...
Did I ever do enough?
I don't think I did...
Did I ever love enough?
I don't think I did...
I think most of us are so caught up in the chase that we pass love by without even noticing. Like a car zooming past a speeding sign, we rush until we hit the consequences.
This time; I am going to slow down and smell the roses...
And perhaps, if possible; Turn back and smell the roses that I past without noticing.
Yet they never failed to keep my life full & fragrant...
:-)
So you see...
Now you know why there is an EX in an Exam!

PMS vs. EFS
PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome)
The physical and psychological symptoms that occur in the week before a woman's menstrual period.
Symptoms may include bloating, headache, irritability, anxiety or depression, low self-esteem, difficulty sleeping, changes in appetite, fatigue, and breast swelling and tenderness.
vs.
EFS (Exam Fatigue Syndrome) as mentioned by Prof. Pye
The physical and psychological symptoms that occur in the during the second week of a student's final exams.
Symptoms may include bloating, headache, irritability, anxiety or depression, low self-esteem, difficulty sleeping, changes in appetite, fatigue, and brain swelling and tenderness.
Hence,
The only difference is between the breasts and the brains.
Rest is the same...
So girls;
Us guys KNOW what you go through now! Happy? :-)
Saddest...
One of the saddest lines I have heard from one of my favourite songs;
'I'll close my eyes
So I don't see
The love you don't feel
When you're holding me'
from,
I Can't Make You Love Me
Bonnie Raitt/George Michael

Advertising for "Cars"
I absolutely adore what PIXAR, the creators of The Incredibles & Finding Nemo, have done for promoting their upcoming movies called Cars. It's a brilliant take on the normal print-advertising about cars; yet actually promotes the movie.
Do read them all. Very entertaing! Yet, wonderfull simple! :-)

Surviving A Thousand Lifetimes...
"It snowed for a day and a night and a day. And when I couldn’t talk any more, I took her fingers and I put them in my mouth, to keep them warm. I don’t remember losing consciousness but I do remember being aware that I was dying. And then I heard her voice. She was reciting a poem, over and over. I couldn’t make out the words but I couldn’t stop listening. She had the most beautiful voice. It was as though I had known her forever, across a thousand lifetimes."

Exam Time!
"Reach"
My Official Exam Anthem
Originally, The Official Anthem for the 1996 Olympics
Some dreams live on in time forever
Those dreams, you want with all your heart
And I'll do whatever it takes
Follow through with the promise I made
Put it all on the line
What I hoped for at last would be mine...
If I could reach, higher...
Just for one moment touch the sky
From that one moment in my life
I'm gonna be stronger
Know that I've tried my very best
I'd put my spirit to the test...
If I could reach

Sarah McLachlan: World On Fire
Sarah McLachlan's "World on Fire"
Take a minute (4 minutes, 22 seconds to be exact) and please watch.
The video might change you. Just a little bit.
And like the video said;
"No, we are not asking for money".
Just some attention.
"We part the veil on Archille's sun
Stray from the straight line on this short run
The more we take, the less we become
A fortune of one that means less for some"
This one is especially for you K-Lee ;-)
p.s.
A word about Sarah McLachlan...
She's been in my life since my first heart-break.
And she never fails to break it again & again,
with her words, work & woe.
Yet I still keep coming back for more...
