Persuasive Pitch...
Something I was very proud of:
"A very persuasive pitch from Asad on your behalf.
Hence, I am willing to accept the team as is and will try to devise an
International Consultancy Engagement related
to mobile telecoms for you."

Believe me!
Coming from Prof. Pye. This is a major compliment!
Somehow, he reminds me of my ex-boss.

some1 pink...
Legally Blonde
Victoria Charlesworth.
The sweetest, cutest & nicest law-undergrad u are going to meet!
It's uncanny how much she is like the original Legally Blonde
Here is a list:
- Blonde
- Doing Law
- Loves Pink (everything in her room is pink)
- Writes with a feathered ball-pen (mind you, she IS studying criminal law!)
- Just as sweet...
We love u Vix! :-)
Come through my window...
It's Competition.
See that window there...
With the light on!
There is a guy in that window who is always studying!
Urrrgh...
Makes me feel like a runt!
I guess he's my sole-source-of-inspiration to keep reading! :-P
I just sat-up! And he is STILL there!!!
Grrrrr...
(or maybe he is just blogging all the time!) :-)

Picture from Hell
Geisha
Memoirs of a Geisha
The phenomenal Rob Marshal (Chicago) is back. Memoirs of a Geisha is a sweeping romantic epic set in a mysterious and exotic world that still casts a potent spell today. The story begins in the years before WWII when a penniless Japanese child is torn from her family to work as a maid in a geisha house. (trailer)

CLUB: Prioritizing People...
Is it OK to list people down priority-wise?
Just wondering...
Listing people down by priority from all the phone-numbers I gathered last night!
How bad... isn't it?
It's like a to-do list, but not for tasks... for persons!
Infact,
The list should be named:
WHO-To-DO!
Awww c'mon. Everyone does that. Everyone has likings. Everyone likes one person better than the other person. We just keep a diplomatic approach that we like everyone the same.
But we don't... do we?
Aaah... back to the list!

Toni & Girl!
Toni & Guy: New Haircut
The mop-top is gone...
Got a hair-cut last night.
I miss my curls!!!
But, I do like the new look...
Apparently, everyone in the hall says that's very posh!
I know, this is so superficial...
But, hey... every little bit is life.
from hair-cuts to pay-cuts.
it's all here!
so, do u like it?

The Genius: Ang Lee
Brokeback Mountain
Set against the sweeping vistas of Wyoming and Texas, the film tells the story of two young men who meet in the summer of 1963, and unexpectedly forge a lifelong connection, one whose complications, joys and tragedies provide a testament to the endurance and power of love.

Smells Like Cheap Curry...
Teen Spirit = Cheap Curry.
Ugghhh...
Umar was over.
We went out and got "sastee pakistani curry" (aka inexpensive... well u know that i mean!)
He ate it in my room. Now it smells like "garam masala"!
Aargh... hate that!
Then went to Tesco with Tom as he wanted to get something for Mark as he was sick.
THEN went to Tesco AGAIN with Hashee as she wanted to get something for herself as she was sick!
Man...
Apparently, tonite I was fuckin'-florence-Nightingale for everybody! :-)
ooooOOooh...
I think I am getting sick now!
Help. Like. Crazy.
Desperate Times. Dire Help.
In a church,by the face, He talks about the people going under.
Only child know... A man decides after seventy years,
That what he goes there for, is to unlock the door.
While those around him criticize and sleep...
And through a fractal on a breaking wall,
I see you my friend, and touch your face again.
Miracles will happen as we trip.
But we're never gonna survive, unless...
We get a little crazy!
No we're never gonna survive, unless...
We are a little...

People I Pride: Diana Wilson
People I am very proud to have in my life...
From today, I am starting out a new section.
People who have potential.
People without whom I would be lesser.
People who personify pride.
People I Pride.
I want to mention Diana Wilson.
My spiritual half who still is in Michigan!
Diana my darling, if you are out there... read this.
You make me proud...

One night at Knightsbridge
Get-together at Knightsbridge
Can you believe this apartment?
Was invited to a small party at Knightsbridge!
That area of London, is not posh...
rather
It's loaded!
Nothing but intimidation. The people there were mostly investment bankers. Met a wonderful russian girl there who is working for Meryl Lynch and she is just 22 yrs old! Can you imgine?!?
Had a great time though. :-)
p.s.
Now I know why Knightsbridge was so expensive in Monopoly!

This is how I feel...
Häagen-Dazs*ing
Chocolate Oblivion
Went out to eat Häagen-Dazs last night...
Apparently it looks like we're drunk,
but instead... everyone was just so exhausted from lectures and course-work!
It was like 10 pm at night.
Tired from school and the dreaded hall-food!
Almost dead.
Heheheh... I think there were like 14 people from the halls who went at once...
Hilarious! Good times...
p.s.
Just to clarify,
Umar, is NOT my lover.
He's just friendly! I hope...

Now, How Did I do That?
Okay now...
This picture doesn't even need a headline does it?!?! :-)
Somehow, I relate...
I am totally stressed-out after voluntary-leadership for every lecture!
That's how it feels to be a "leader" I guess...
Painting yourself in a corner!
Aarrgh!
I KNOW I should have put my hand-up!
(It's the fault of the paint-brush)

I heart PK.
I heart PK.
Two of my favourite things in the world broke today.
My country.
And my heart.
I didn't feel the shake.
I didn't hear the screams.
I didn't see the fall.
I didn't touch the debris.
I didn't taste the blood.
I did sense the pain.
And my heart broke.
Can you please fix my heart?
I am going to try.
I am going out to give out my donation.
Please to do so...
And in the process,
You will fix my heart...
& yours.
Thank You.
Love-Past.

Loved One,
Do Not Ask Me, for the love-past.
Do not ask me
For that past love
When I thought
You alone illumined
This entire world
And because of you
The sorrows of life
Did not matter.
I thought
Your beauty game permanence
To the colors of spring
And your eyes were
The only stars
In the universe.
I thought
If I could only make you mine
Destiny would, forever, be
In my hands.
Now I know
There are afflictions
Which have nothing to do with desire
Raptures
Which have nothing to do with love.
On the dark loom of history
Woven into
Silk, damask, and goldcloth
Is the oppressive enigma
Of our lives.
Everywhere--
In the valleys and bazaars--
Human flesh is being sold--
Throbbing between layers of dust--
Bathed in blood.
The furnace of poverty and disease
Disgorges body after body--
Your beauty is still
A river of gems
But now I know
There are afflictions
Which have nothing to do with desire
Raptures
Which have nothing to do with love.
My love, do not ask me ...
for the love-past.

Billion dollar view
London at night.
Visited a friend's apartment last night for a night-cap!
Talk about a view...
Absolutely,
The most overwhelming view-from-a-balcony I have ever seen!
You can see Canaray Wharf, St. Paul's Cathedral, The London Eye, Oxford Street...
My goodness...
One of the most enchanting sights of my life!

hahahah! Vix, Umar & I randomly started chatting to this guy today. Poor thing was from Saudia Arabia and didn't know a word of english. So, all of us used the oppurtunity to use hone our language skills and typed him every bad-arabic language word we could find over here: http://www.ectaco.co.uk/English-Arabic-Dictionary/

A brilliant blog...
It's like a philosophical dance with Pakistan's socio-political issues.

PHASE is just s a haze now...
Went out to the King's Student Union last night.
It's the weekly Club night called "PHASE".
There is this super song nobody can stop dancing too:
Mylo feat. Miami Sound Machine - Doctor Pressure
Brilliant track. Crazy fun...
Let's just say, I don't remember much. Just arriving there...
and walking home! ;-)
